Multiple Perceptions

The Great Pyramid, Sphinx, Easter Island statues, Stonehenge and other spectacular world monoliths and megaliths, including ancient pictographs, petroglyphs, hieroglyphs, and symbols may at times also be likened to bona fide optical illusions; for we do not see them in their totality as combined scientific, artistic, religious natural wonders. We invariably try to comprehend them with the intellect which processes information by division, examining the complete structure according to a scientific, artistic, religious or engineering point of view, and then trying to make something of the whole out of its parts. The static mind becomes enraptured with the fragments of effects; the analytical mind proceeds from oneness to the holistic imprint.
